Lakeland Manufacturing is looking to hire an office assistant. This position offers 32-36 part time hours per week, Monday thru Thursday with an 8:00 am start. The ideal individual will have some basic knowledge of the workings of a metal manufacturing company (steel trade) but we are open to training the right individual. This position will have basic office function responsibilities which will require Microsoft Office experience with Word, Excel and Power Point along with refined negotiation skills enabling you to work as a back up for our buyer.
We are located right behind Fleet Farm in Alexandria, right next to Alex Power.

UPS is hiring individuals to work as part-time Package Handlers. This is a physical, fast-paced position that involves continual lifting, lowering and sliding packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs. Part-time employees usually work 3 ½ - 4 hours each day and workdays can vary (Monday – Friday) or (Tuesday – Saturday) depending on the building needs. Package Handlers typically do not work on holidays.
