Kids Fishing Clinic
May 26th @ 9:15 am - 2:00 pm

Lum Park, Brainerd

Ages 4 - 15 are welcome to participate!

9:15 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Registration/Check-In
(Children must be signed in by 9:30 sharp and participate in the learning stations to be eligible for the afternoon lunch, fishing contest, and prizes) 
9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Learning Stations
11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Lunch (hot dog, chips, drink)
12:05 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Fishing Contest
(We will have a limited supply of "loaner fishing poles" for children, however we do recommend if children have their own fishing poles to bring those.)
1:40 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Award Ceremony/ Participant Gift Bags

Come Birding with BLAAS

Back by popular demand! 
Open to young and old, experts and beginners! The Brainerd Lakes Area Audubon Society and the Northland Arboretum will be sponsoring Free Bird Hikes on Thursdays and Saturdays at the Northland Arboretum beginning Thursday, May 3rd and continuing through Saturday, May 26th. These hikes will be led by an experienced birder and an assistant. Hikes will last for about an hour. Thursday morning hikes will begin at 7 AM and Saturday morning hikes will begin at 8 AM. Get out and enjoy spring, enjoy an early morning hike and enjoy learning about birds! Extra binoculars and field guides will be available.
